About the Club

Founded in 2005, the University of Waterloo  Ballroom Dance Club began as merely a few friends who had an interest in ballroom dancing. Now a not-for-profit sports club under UW Athletics  and Recreational Services, we have grown considerably in both size and in quality in the past decade.

Throughout the years, our aim has always been to provide high-quality instruction in international-style  ballroom dancing at student-friendly costs, and to foster a welcoming  dance community here at the university. We offer a selection of classes taught by professional instructors, numerous dance opportunities, and  social events, ask us about it!
